Thank you!

My cupcake/cookie sale was good. I received so much positive feedback. People stopped and ask me about my bakery location or want to order a cake for upcoming birthdays. I appreciated the feedback very much.
The support was amazing and I would like to thank Ralf, Cher, Corinne, Jo, Venus, Peter, Victor, Brenda and Karen.
I gave part of the proceeds towards the breast cancer research. The coordinator was very happy.
Here are pics from my goodies. Enjoy!

Summer time

Yeah, summer time! I did some lemon cupcakes filled with lemon pie filling. I brought them to our last CFAV Summer Social. There were so delicious. Some of you ask for the recipe and her it is (sorry all things are in gramms not in cups because it is a german recipe):

250 g margarine or butter
150 g sugar
1 package vanillin-sugar (Dr.Oetker)
lemon zest and/or lemon juice (depends on how much you want to have the lemon taste)
1 pinch salt
4 eggs (size M)
300 g flour
4 teaspoon backing powder (Dr.Oetker)
3-4 tablespoon milk

Preheat oven to 175 degree.
Mix Margarine or butter with the sugar, salt and vanilla sugar until smooth. Add one egg at a time and beat every egg 30 sec. Add baking powder, flour and milk. Mix everything well done togheter. Fill into cupcake pan. Bake for appr. 10-15 min.
Cool cupcakes down.

Scoop out a piece of the cupcake center. Fill cupcake with lemon pie filling (selfmade or ready to use). Decorate with buttercream and the choice of decoration you like.

Canada Day Cupcakes

Sorry to all my Blogger Friends. June was so busy. So I couldn't really post anything. Today, I found the time and I want to show you my Martha Steward Maple Cupcakes. The cupcake tasted more like a pancake.;-) I removed the top layer of the cupcake and I watered the cupcake with a teaspoon of Maple Sirup. I decorated the cupcake with buttercream and a maple leaf candy which melded over the time and made a nice finish to the cupcake.

Maple Cupcakes Recipe (page 240 in book)
Ingredients for Cupcakes
2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temp.
2 cups pure maple syrup,, preferably Grade B
3 large eggs, room temp
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line standard or mini muffin tins with paper liners. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

2. With an electric mixer on medum-high speed, cream butter until smooth. Add the maple syrup, and beat until combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until each is incorporated, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Add flour mixture, and beat well to combine. Beat in milk and vanilla until combined.

3. Divide batter evenly among lined cups, filling each three-quarters full. Bake, rotating tins halfway through, until glden and a cake tester inserted in centers comes out clean, about 20 minutes for standard, 10 to 13 minutes for minis. Transfer tins to wire racks to cool completely before removing cupcakes.

Sorry an alle meine Blogger Freunde.
