My first fondant

I tried a fondant recipe my first time. It wasn´t easy and I had some problems with the fondant dough. It cracked all the time, no matter how I changed the fondant dough. It was disappointing and I wasn´t sure I wanna try this again. So with the rest of the fondant I cut out some flowers and I tried to "save" the cake. I´m not happy with it. I found out that my favorite thing to do are cupcakes with buttercream decoration. I won´t give up and I will try another fondant recipe. Hopefully it will be better than the last one.

Ich habe das erste Mal ein Fondant Rezept ausprobiert. Es war alles andere als einfach und ich hatte einige Probleme. Er ist die ganze Zeit gerissen, egal wie ich die Konsistenz des Fondants verändert habe. Es war sehr enttäuschend und ich war mir nicht sicher, ob ich das jemals wieder probieren möchte. Mit dem Rest des Fondants habe ich ein paar Blumen ausgestochen und versucht noch etwas aus dem Kuchen zu machen. Ich bin nicht so zufrieden damit. Ich habe erkannt, das Cupcakes mit Buttercream meine Lieblingssache ist. Ich werde nicht aufgeben und irgendwann ein anderes Fondantrezept probieren, in der Hoffnung er wird besser als der Erste.
